Build your own Manscaper.
Modern twist on a centuries old Japanese style Kamisori. The Manscaper features a 6/8 sized dark acid etched high carbon O1 blade with a western hollow grind measuring 2.125 inches long that has been heat treated and double tempered to Rockwell C62. The handle measures 4 inches long and is much easier to use and maneuver than a folding blade.
Gorgeous spine engraving. Style 1 Tribal. Style 2 is Diamond Arches.
The storage and display box is hand crafted from select cabinet quality American sourced red oak and uses brass hinges. The inset for the razor is shaped in a way that the sharp edge of the blade never touches.
Free engraving on the reverse side of the handle. Just tell me what you want on it.
- Polymer handle with mermaid tail pattern for extra grip. The handle is not cheap injection molded or cast. I machine it from a solid bar of ABS. Simple and maintenance free.
- Cabinet quality select grade American sourced Red Oak with a fine straight grain pattern. Perfect match to the box. I make them from the same pieces of wood. My personal favorite.
- Locally sourced Black Walnut. Very dark with extreme pattern variations. Each one is unique.
- Brass with a mermaid tail pattern for extra grip. Heavy. Beautiful. Manly.
Shave ready. I still highly suggest you know how to hone the edge for any straight razor to what suits you.
A word on brass - The brass will patina. Personally, I prefer the look of aged brass. If you do not it will either need to be lacquered or occasionally polished like any brass.
